CopperChem Aeration System for Stockpile Copper Leaching

Clemcorp were appointed by Copperchem to design and manufacture a ventilation system to aerate their copper leach heaps to aid with recovery percentages during processing. Appropriate design parameters were researched and the system modelled using Ventsim Visual. An axial fan solution and custom manufactured ductwork delivered to site and commissioned. Copper recovery doubled due to implementation of Clemcorp solution.
